Sadly, no- the horse photo is from my road trip 3 weeks ago to see little sis graduate.
Have you ever been to the Colony Inn restaurant in the Amana Colonies? If you haven't, you need to. Soon. Family-style breakfast that just keeps coming and coming . . .
He's a really nice horse actually. He started bucking because of a wasp sting. I managed to hold on for a good six seconds, which impressed me because I'm hardly a trained horsewoman.

I may have about 7 years ago. There are so many decent restaurants in IC, though, I'm hard-pressed to find an excuse to make the drive. I'll keep it in mind, though, for when I'm feeling trapped.
I can see where they look like the twins from the "hallway scene" in the "Shining". That is a cute picture. At least the horse bucked you off. Several years ago, I was riding one of my sister's horses on a trail ride (probably 50 people there) and I had the horse go over a small creek. She decided to jump and I fell off (in my defense, I didn't realize she was going to jump and was taken by surprise). People are still talking "remember when oldwhitelady fell off that horse?).
I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Colorado at Denver, working toward a Masters in communication. All opinions expressed on my blogs are my own.
Are you in town?!

Rocket is the one that bucked me off at my graduation party.
ReplyDeleteAnd you let him live?
Yeah . . . but he's not my horse :)

Ah. It's just as well--I need a haircut. :)
