My baby shot me down

Am I alone in thinking that Dick Cheney doesn't "accidentally" shoot anyone?

  1. I can see him "accidentally" shooting someone.

Just as I can see him "accidentally" leaving the press releases to the ranch's owner.

Just as I can see them "accidentally" downplaying the injuries sustained.

Just as I can see the entire bunch of them "accidentally" invading a country that a majority of Americans still don't believe started out being a part of the Global Armed Struggle Against Muslim Terrorism.

    Yup. Accidents happen.

Sorry. That's as good as I can do within 10 minutes of waking up.

  3. Okay, one of the nastier aspects of this has been the unconvincing, obsequious ass-covering by your McClellans and your Matalins -- in one case, even blaming the victim.

No, sorry, as someone who knows a thing or twenty about gun safety, if a gun in your hands discharges and hits someone (barring self-defense), you are responsible. Plain and simple. Cowboy up, own it like an adult, and accept the consequences.

That's really all there is to it.

That's so charmingly Old-School Republican. The new school is to blame whatever you did wrong on Michael Brown, societal decay, Hillary Clinton or Cindy Sheehan.
