Free to Lizz-ance

Got my first assignment for the Onion AV Club yesterday.

Denver/Boulder readers can catch it in the Aug. 10 issue. My birthday present to me will be my first legitimate attempt at Rock Journalism.

Happy 25th to me, indeed.

  1. Remember to Rock! Rock! Till You Drop! Or maybe until about 2 minutes before you would ordinarily drop.

  2. Don't forget us little peeps now that you've hit the bigtime!

  3. Disregard any Def Leppard-related kudos. Trust me.

Otherwise, congrats! My happiness is tempered by my jealous rage.

  4. Fantastic! I know no one better suited to the job.

  5. I'm so jealous I might die!!

  6. Oooooh! V. cool! Don't forget to remind us when it posts!

  7. Remember when you're taking the motorcycle test you need to look ahead and not down. So when's your birthday? Cancer or Leo?

    Hope you're enjoying summer.

  8. Hi, the quote from JFK is not entirely correct.

The Chinese word for crisis is WeiJi. It is actually made up of two characters. The first character has six brush strokes in it, and the second has 14 brush strokes.

While the first character, Wei can signify danger, but it usually has to be accompanied by a second character Shien. WeiShien together means danger.

And while the second character can signify opportunity, it really only does when it also is represented by two characters, or JiHwei.

In order to be more correct, you could change the words 'brush strokes' to characters.

Hope this has been of some use.

Oh, and Hippo Birdie two Ewes.

  9. Happy Birthday. Enjoy the Bajaj and good luck with the license. :-)
